Gambian Stopped All Ceremonies During ramadan Period

Gambia being a muslim country with the Christian brothers being under 8% and the muslim being over 90% had stopped any ceremonies for now during ramadan period claiming that anyone caught will be duly punished under the law. It is not surprising however being a muslim country as it is.

So far as at the time of writing this, there has not been anyone violating this and thus police has not reported anyone thus far. Thus during the holy month of ramadan, no activities like drumming, dancing, playing music is allowed whatsoever. It is strictly believed this is a religious period and must be fully regarded as one.
